Customers using Investar will now be able to trade directly in your Zerodha account and place the following :
- Trades based on price alerts
- Trades based on scan alerts (e.g., when a stock does a Auto-SR based volume breakout)
- Trades directly from the chart
- Trades directly from the Portfolio Manager
You can place trades now easily with Investar in the following ways.
Right click on the Chart
Right click on the Favorite in Favorite Group(watchlists)
Right click on a symbol in scan
When a scan alert is generated
Right-click on an existing position in Portfolio Manager.

how do we connect zerodha users to the platform?
I am a zerodha user and i downloaded your software and accepted the free trial offer, how do i integrate it with my zerodha account?
There is nothing to integrate, simply follow the screenshots in this post and when prompted for a zerodha login, login and place the trade. You only need to do this once. A detailed blog post about this is coming soon.
zerodha also provides software in PII and Kite version and that is also awesome
Yes, agreed. But for those people who want to enhance their trading by using the Investar intraday screener (which gives auto-updating scans in live market), Auto-Support/Resistance and also our Portfolio Manager to name a few, this is indespensable.
Is AUTO TRADING allowed with investar? Now that Zerodha trades can be placed via the Investar terminal. In other words, can we write scripts in Investar that can (based on certain conditions) place trades on Zerodha??

Auto-trading is not allowed by SEBI for retain investors. So, you do have to click on a button to place a trade. However, the benefit of using this feature is that you can place a trade whenever you get any alerts in Investar without leaving it. Custom screener (that will allow you to write your own queries) is coming soon….
I do use Z nest for trading ( I’m quite active in derivatives),as zerodha PI and Kite could not be understood by me , hence not loadedat MY PC ,

Investar Beta is available to all users, both paid and trial. Soon, we will have the Zerodha trading in our main release version also.
Investar looks promising .. i use zerodha kite for placing orders as NEST/NOW/PI are not working in Office network.
Will Investar work correctly with Zerodha Kite ?
